Thank you so much for joining me! Please get a cuppa, get comfy and let me take a moment to introduce myself. 

 

I'm Steph, the founder of Organise and Harmonise. Hi!

I'm a wife and a mum and I have been working full time since the age of 17. I had my daughter at 19 and I couldn't be more proud of the young woman she has turned out to be. I try my best to keep a clean and tidy home, eat healthily and exercise, and get jobs ticked off of my ever-growing to-do list - but it's definitely all a juggle. Sound familiar? 

 

At the end of 2019 however, I got to the stage where felt like I was meeting myself coming backwards. Being 100% honest, the high expectations I had of myself to deliver constantly in all of these areas, left me feeling totally overwhelmed. I was forced to take some time out to put myself first.

 

I spent a lot of time researching how I could feel calmer and more grounded, and I read a lot on how physical surrounding can impact on mental well-being. Through reducing clutter and creating organisational systems in my life and home,  I now feel more balanced and in control of the here and now, at the same time as planning for an exciting future. All of those responsibilities I had are still there, but I now find them much easier to tackle. 

The more I thought about it, the more I realised there must be more of you lovely ladies out there in the same situation, trying your best to balance everything you're responsible for, but at the same time feeling a little like you're drowning and can't ask for help.

 

But I'm here to let you know, you can ask for help; you don't have to continue feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Asking for help is a sign of strength and not weakness. 

I love to work with people who are busy balancing all of their commitments and just need a kind ear and a little support to reclaim their home space as one they love. I understand how you're feeling and I appreciate what a great job you're doing; we all just need a little help sometimes. 

 

Whatever your goals are in regards to decluttering and organising your home, we can work together to achieve it.  It might be something relatively small like organising your wardrobe, or it could be a full kitchen declutter and organisation; whatever 'IT' is that will make you smile, I'd honestly love to help!

"Why do I need someone to help me sort through my stuff and organise it when I could do it myself?" is a question you may be asking yourself, and one I hear a lot from people thinking about hiring a Professional Organiser.
Although on the face of it, it may seem easy to declutter and organise on your own, this isn't the case for everyone.
